For the past several years, I've been combining my love of singing and acting with my passion for volunteering by offering charity princess character appearances. I can sing the character's song, read books, lead a craft or a game, give "princess lessons", talk about kindness or other topics, take photos with the kids or just interact with them. My most requested character is the Snow Queen, and I've been told by kids that I'm "the REAL one", but I can also be several other characters.
I don't charge anything for princess character charity events. I've done work for Make-A-Wish Foundation, an event for an injured family member of a soldier, Girl Scout groups, Head Start groups and more. I sang 30 minutes of kids songs and volunteered for four hours at the St. Paul Winter Carnival Kid's Day in 2016.
If you have an upcoming community charity event that could use a princess character, please contact me. Again, I don't charge anything.
I am also available at no charge for private kids' events or events for non-charity groups. However, for those, I do encourage the organizer to make a donation of $75 or more to my Susan G. Komen MN fundraising page. Typically, I will spend between 1-1.5 hours at the event, depending on the number of kids and specific requests. Doing the private event parties is one of my biggest ways to raise donations for Komen, and the donations are tax-deductible for the donor!
